Tink
Tink

Hello! We are the Thomas family. Rick, Diane, Travis (age 11) and Austin (age 13). We live in Pennsylvania. We adopted Tink and picked her up from Donna Yan on September 16, 2007. She has become a wonderful addition to our family! We were so heartbroken when our Dalmatian, Topaz died 3 years ago on December 17th. It took that long to get another dog. Tink in one smart puppy. She can sit, sit pretty, give both paws, lie down, roll over, speak, give kisses, & hugs. She also knows ASL hand commands for Daddy, walk, cat & cookie, which is a biscuit! She rings bird bells on the door to go potty. She is very comical and she makes us laugh every day. She cries if you give her a bone and she wants you to hide it for her. She will try to bury it in your lap! She loves to play and eat the snow. Travis was out the other night and he went down the hill on his belly, and she jumped on his back for a ride down the hill, it was so funny! She had many fears when we brought her home, most of them are gone. She is happy and well-adjusted now. She still does not like the sweeper, she runs and hides for quite a while when I sweep! There are things she does not like outside but she will gradually get used to them. She loves when she hears and sees the bus come to bring the boys home to her. She spends lots of time hanging out down stairs in their bedroom. She loves to be so comfortable on Austin’s’ bed! She also loves to be toasty warm in front of the gas fireplace in the family room. She hates to be cold. She likes to snuggle. She is such a loveable dog. She love to retrieve, and she plays a lot and has tons of energy. She gets walked as often as possible, when it is not raining! We hope to enjoy her for many years to come. Thank you again for letting us adopt her, we love her so much! Christmas will be fun, we can’t wait till she opens up her new toys — she got lots of stuff! She is a spoiled little girl. She is a little shy with the camera but we will send you new pics next year. She is 36.7 pounds now, with very long legs. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Sincerely, Rick, Diane, Austin & Travis Thomas December 2007
